The house
The « Maison du meunier » (the Milner’s House), built in 1866 by Milner Henry Purnode and his wife Catherine Lamy, owners of important watermills at the edge of the village, is standing proudly in front of the church’s porch.
The house is ideally located for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits: walking, fishing, hiking, canoeing, biking, golf, etc.
It is casual but refined, understated but with luxurious touches in an environment where you can truly feel at home.
Depending on the weather, breakfast with local ingredients and freshly squeezed orange juice will be served in the garden or indoors.
A selection of drinks and wines is available before dinner, while you enjoy our heated swimming pool or play a game of “petanque” in the garden.
In the evening, a welcoming log fire burns in the elegant drawing room, furnished with antiques and cosy chairs. A selection of nice coffee table books, maps and regional information is available.
We are delighted to provide recommendations for walks and visits to the numerous castles, historic sites and tourist attractions in the area.
A private parking and a garage for bicycles and motorbikes are available.
Feel free to use our wireless wifi internet connection.
